Mechanical engineer with almost 20 years experience and a unique background - a PhD in mechanical engineering, with excellent hands-on skill and experience in different industries. I am at home in the workshop fabricating prototypes or behind a desk analysing data, writing proposals and running the numbers.
Expertise
My love of cars influenced my career path, working on production technology for large scale/high volume carbon composite components, including time working in Germany on projects with BMW, Audi, Eurocopter and GE. A career change to the medical device industry presented opportunities for me to push myself into a new area with different challenges. I was able to transfer my skills to this new environment, learning and adapting to grow and prosper as both an engineer and a leader.
